Metro-east voters looking to cast their ballot early and in-person have a number of sites they can visit to do so.
Illinois’ early voting period began Thursday and continues through Monday, Nov. 7. Any eligible voter can cast their ballot early with no excuse needed.
Registered voters need to cast their ballot in their county of residence. To find an early voting location in your county, you can use the state’s early voting portal.
We’ve also rounded up the list of early voting locations for St. Clair, Madison, Monroe, Clinton, Randolph, Bond and Washington counties. Many also serve as sites to complete your voter registration and cast your ballot during the state’s grace period.
Where to vote early in St Clair County, IL
Early voting kicks off in St. Clair County at the elections office in Belleville beginning Thursday. The location is the St. Clair County Courthouse at 10 Public Square, second floor elections office, Belleville, IL 62220.
You can cast a ballot there at the following times:
- 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays beginning Thursday, Sept. 29
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays Monday, Oct. 24 to Friday, Oct. 28
- 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 29

Where to vote early in Madison County, IL
Early voting will begin Thursday in Madison County at the county clerk’s office at 157 N. Main St., Room 109, Edwardsville, IL 62025.
You can cast a ballot there from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays Thursday, Sept. 29 through Friday, Oct. 21. There will be no voting there Monday, Oct. 10 in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
